This Sunday (19th September) there will be lightning pickets across Christchurch to name and shame the unscrupulous employers that have put profit before the welfare of their staff during the earthquakes aftermath.These companies (First Security, Subway and Reading Cinema The Palms and others) are refusing to pay workers for lost hours, as well as forcing staff to work regardless of safe conditions or personal needs.
Meet us at Subway (corner of Colombo and Hereford St) at 12 noon where we'll spend 20 minutes making it loud and clear what kind of company operates in our community... we will then car pool to the next site.
