Oppose National's Attacks on Workers Rights!!!

A call out has been made to demonstrate tomorrow, SUNDAY 18th, between 10am - 12noon at Christchurch Cathedral Square - we need to make sure that National's Anti-Worker proposals are stopped before we find ourselves locked out of our members work sites!!!

•  the 90 day "no rights" trial period that presently applies to new workers in small businesses is going to be applied to all businesses, and

• the right of union members to see a union organiser in their workplace is going to be restricted so the organiser can only be there if the employer consents.

Unite, along with a number of local organisations, NGO's and activists will be there with megaphones and banners - make sure you pass the message on to your delegates and members! We cannot afford to sit back and watch.
